Clearstream Banking1 informs clients that the client deadlines for submitting tax instructions on dividend payments paid in 2024 from Canadian equities, that are held with Clearstream Banking’s depository in Canada (Royal Bank of Canada dep. 4C), using the quick refund procedure through Clearstream Banking, are as set out in the table below:

Impact on clients
Clients are requested, with immediate effect, to apply the above deadlines when submitting quick refund requests through Clearstream Banking, for the current calendar year for dividend payments from Canadian equities.
